一、考點定位與做題順序
並列連詞連的是「兩個同類成分」。not only…but also 最常考：A 是名詞短語，B 也得是名詞短語；A 是形容詞，B 也得是形容詞。不是看兩邊意思像不像，是看語法成分對不對得上。
自編示意語篇共 12 空：not only…but also 3、either…or 3、neither…nor 3、both…and 3。語篇為自編示意，不代表真實材料。

not only…but also 三處：useful/affordable 同為形容詞、clearly/confidently 同為副詞、a writer/a teacher 同為名詞短語 → 3 處。either…or 三處（二選一）→ 3 處；neither…nor 三處（兩者皆非）→ 3 處；both…and 三處（兩者皆是）→ 3 處。合計 3+3+3+3=12 閉合。
「not only the data but also the method」裡謂語隨最近的主語 method 走（就近一致），所以單數 is revised。這不是平行結構本身的要求，而是並列主語的謂語一致規則；兩層別混。平行要求的是 the data 與 the method 同為名詞短語，這一條已滿足。
判據再驗：把 A、B 單獨抄出來，看能不能被同一個詞類標籤蓋住；蓋不住就是平行失敗。
