題目性質：自編仿真題——題目、材料、選項、數據與情境均為按課程標準與聯招常見考點獨立編寫的原創仿真題，非真題原文，未取自任何題庫、教輔或試卷；解析與採分點為教研整理，非官方評分標準。
一、考點定位與做題順序
比較結構空先判四類：同級（as + 原級 + as，中間絕不能用比較級）、差級（more/less + 比較級 + than）、倍數（倍數 + as…as／倍數 + the + 名詞 + of／倍數 + 比較級 + than）、遞進（the + 比較級…, the + 比較級…＝「越…越…」）。再核搭配是否成套：見了 as 要找後一個 as，見了 than 要找比較級。
倍數給一組自編示意數據回驗：甲館 12.0 萬冊、乙館 4.00 萬冊，12.0/4.00 = 3，故「甲是乙的三倍」可寫 three times as large as / three times the size of；three times more than 在部分用法裡被理解成「多三倍＝四倍」，易生歧義，正式表述優先避開。下面短文與數據均為自編示意，不代表真實統計。

(1) A (three times) / (2) A (as large as)。 12.0 萬 ÷ 4.00 萬 = 3，用 three times as large as：倍數詞 three times 放 as…as 之前，中間必須用原級 large。as larger as 錯（原級位置放比較級），larger than 只表「更大」不含倍數，so large as 多用於否定句且不與倍數詞這樣搭配。(3) A (as tall as)。 not as + 原級 + as＝「不如…那樣高」；as taller as、taller as 搭配不成套。
(4) B (more) / (5) B (than)。 more guides than B did：差級比較，比較級 more 與 than 成套；as many…as 是同級，與句意「借出更多」不符；D 項 three times 放在這裡沒有對應 as…as 結構。

(8) B (far)。 far clearer than：far 修飾比較級表「…得多」；very 不修飾比較級，more clearer 雙重比較級，as 與後面的 than 不配套。

(1) 下面三句各有一處比較結構使用不當，請改正並說明理由：

(2) 把「A's collection was three times as large as B's」改寫成不改變事實、且不用 as…as 的兩種說法；並用 12.0 萬 / 4.00 萬冊回驗倍數。另說明「three times more than B's」為什麼在本語篇裡不宜採用。

③ very → far / much（修飾比較級 clearer），less → fewer（mistakes 可數複數）。very 只修飾原級；less 修飾不可數。
(2) 說法一：A's collection was three times the size of B's.（倍數 + the + 名詞 + of。）
說法二：A held three times as many books as B. 若仍需不用 as…as，可寫 A held three times the number of books that B held. 或 A held 120,000 books, three times B's 40,000.
倍數回驗：12.0 萬 ÷ 4.00 萬 = 3.00，三種句式都指向「甲是乙的三倍」；若寫成 twice as large as 就得是 8.00 萬冊，與數據不符，可用這句作反證。
為什麼不宜用 three times more than B's：該式在部分讀法裡被理解為「比乙多三倍」＝乙的 4 倍（4.00 萬 × 4 = 16.0 萬冊），與題給 12.0 萬冊不等；另一些讀法才把它當「三倍」。同一句話有兩種口徑，作為正式說明會引發歧義，本語篇一律避開，優先用 three times as large as 或 three times the size of——把倍數落在「是…的幾倍」而不是「比…多幾倍」上。

比較結構空先判四類再核成套：as…as 中間只放原級，more 必配 than，「越…越…」前後都要 The + 比較級，fewer 管可數複數，far/much 才修飾比較級。倍數優先寫「是…的幾倍」（three times as large as / three times the size of），別用可能被讀成「多三倍＝四倍」的 three times more than——拿 12.0 萬 ÷ 4.00 萬 = 3 一驗就清楚。兩館冊數均為自編示意，不代表真實統計。
